Coaching Experience
For more than 10 years, I've been dedicated to developing goalkeepers at every stage of the game. My coaching journey has taken me from the collegiate level to elite youth development and the international stage, allowing me to work with goalkeepers striving to reach their highest potential.
I currently serve as a Goalkeeper Coach with Atlanta United Academy and the U.S. Deaf Men's National Team. Previously, I've coached at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels and served as the Head of ECNL Goalkeeping, helping develop goalkeepers in one of the nation's top youth competition platforms.
My coaching philosophy centers on developing complete goalkeepers through technically detailed, game-realistic training. Every session emphasizes decision-making, confidence, communication, athleticism, and the mindset required to perform consistently under pressure. My goal is to create an environment where every goalkeeper is challenged, supported, and prepared for the next level.
Playing Experience
My playing career has shaped the coach I am today. As a goalkeeper, I experienced firsthand the demands, challenges, and expectations required to compete at the highest levels of the game.
I began my professional career at 18 years old in Scotland with Aberdeen, gaining valuable experience in a highly competitive football environment. Throughout my playing career, I also had the opportunity to train with top English clubs, including West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers, where I was able to experience different elite training environments and learn from some of the best players and coaches in the game.
After moving to the United States, I continued my playing career with clubs including Atlanta Silverbacks, Atlanta SC, and spent time with Atlanta United. These experiences allowed me to compete at a high level while developing a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed as a goalkeeper.
The lessons I learned as a player continue to shape my coaching philosophy today. I understand the commitment, discipline, resilience, and mentality required to become a successful goalkeeper because I have lived that journey myself. My goal is to use my experiences as both a player and coach to help the next generation of goalkeepers navigate their pathway, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
